Tourist Guides request to WFTGA

We come to know that recently WFTGA President had visited India officially . We would have been fortunate enough to meet her, if WFTGA had informed all the member associations as well. Well there is always a next time. We wish that the President of WFTGA visits India every year ! ! !

Who knows, may be one day the WFTGA biennial convention will be held in your country and you will get to see all world tourist guides meeting in your home country. Wink

Thank you for your post. The visit was arranged with one day's notice ie I got my visa on Wednesday night and left on Thursday morning. It was a very successful meeting with guides from all over India present. Sorry you weren't there - I had hoped you would be. As soon as I got back we informed all our members through the website. I am also very happy that our Senior Trainer Iris Barry was able to visit you in Chennai in June on my behalf. I look forward to meeting you personally in Bali.

As President I visit as many places as I can and visit as many guides as possible when invited by associations.
